Edward "Ed" Sanchez brings more than 25 years of construction, equipment rental, and customer service experience to his role as District Safety Trainer for Arizona.

Following high school, Ed began his career as an Electrical Apprentice, eventually spending 23 years working as a licensed electrician. He later transitioned into the equipment rental industry, where he gained experience as a CDL driver, inside sales representative, and dispatcher. After three years in rental operations, Ed accepted a position as a Residential Construction Manager with a major national homebuilder, where he leveraged his extensive field experience to oversee residential construction projects and build strong relationships with trade partners.

In 2024, Ed joined Sunbelt Rentals as an Equipment Rental Specialist, motivated by a desire to support customers and trade professionals through exceptional service and industry expertise. His commitment to customer success and operational excellence quickly led to advancement within the organization, serving in several branch-level roles, including Senior Equipment Rental Specialist and Customer Safety Trainer.

In 2026, Ed was promoted to District Safety Trainer for the state of Arizona. In this role, he delivers safety education and equipment training programs, helping customers and team members operate safely and efficiently. He is qualified to instruct Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) and forklift certification training.

Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife, nine adult children, and four grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing whenever he has the opportunity.
