Supported Scaffold Competent Person (Virtual)

To determine if there is an available Evaluator in your area, CLICK HERE The process to select your evaluator for the practical evaluation occurs upon successful completion of the virtual class.

This virtual training prepares individuals to become a Competent Person for supported scaffolding.  This course meets the requirements for OSHA 1926.454 (b).

To receive course completion wallet card, students must:

• Successfully complete virtual classroom theory and final written exam

Topics include:

• OSHA regulations
• SAIA standards
• Sunbelt Rentals Best Practices
• Instruction on frame, tube and clamp system scaffolding
• The proper use of personal fall arrest systems related to scaffold usage

Students have 90 days to successfully complete their practical evaluation after finishing the online coursework to receive certification.
